The society�s policy has always been that successful repair of spinal cords for people in wheelchairs is a matter of �when� not �if�.

The time is now getting much closer

We need over $2million to fund the initial trials in New Zealand and if we attain results,
or even improve on those in other countries, we will be well on the way to transforming the
lives of over 5,000 New Zealanders confined to wheelchairs � as well as the 70-80 people who suffer new injuries each year.
